Anybody here appear / or try out for a game show ?

" Who want's to be a millionaire" seems to me a good shot. I'm not sure if it's still actively produced. Seems a reasonable shot to reach the 32k level

" Fear Factor", I wouldn't eat the nasty stuff, unless guaranteed nice money.

I'd do " Dog eat Dog", just to hug Brooke, but small money.It would be fun.

Jeopardy would be too hard !

I tried out for one show ( forgot which ) about 20 years ago. I had to drive from SD to LA, needless to say I didn't appear.

Anyone get on these shows, or win ?

As a kid I was on 'Pin Busters' bowling show locally...

Each kid bowls against a kid in his age group , if you win you move on to the following week (3 frames)

I lost though 28-27...this is duckpin bowling BTW

I tried out for the ESPN game show (2 minute drill if i remember correctly) when it first came out but didn't make it. What a horrible show anyway!

i've been on a few:

October, 1971: Truth or Consequences: 2 boys and 2 girls got picked from the audience to pretend to be hubby/wife and do whatever we wanted to do to act like our parents. i got on the show and would KILL for a copy of this

Shows i have been on later in life:

Super Bowl of Sports Trivia: ESPN Show that aired during the 1989 season, hosted by some a**hole (they had soooooooo many ??? with wrong answers - stopped being funny). my team of 3 made the semis - winning 2 shows to make it that far.

Sports on Tap: ESON Show - i think (of Fox) - on 1 show.

Sports Geniuses: Lost in the final round so i got a 36-inch fla screen TV instead of a week in Tahoe. The way I see it - i got the better prize.

still hoping to possibly get on one more soon. will let all here know if i do.
